Representatives of the City of Kruševac held a reception for the members of the Twin City delegations who visited Kruševac on its Liberation Day.
Delegations from Stavros (Greece) and Râmnicu Vâlcea (Romania) were welcomed by Mayor Ivan Manojlović, Deputy Mayor Snežana Radojković, President of City Assembly Dragana Barišić, Deputy President Siniša Maksimović, Head of City Administration Vesna Anđelić, and Mayor’s Aides Ana Prvanov, Nevena Plavšić and Darko Andonov.
After the formal introductory words, the hosts and guests talked about their own cities, and ongoing/completed projects in infrastructure.
Mayor Manojlović highlighted that this is a proof of the strong relations with the Twin Cities that had been cultivated throughout the years:
“This is not a simple and formal act, but a show of mutual respect, understanding, and common values. There is always a great number of means to deepen the cooperation and find inspiration to overcome obstacles set before us during these meetings. We are one of the rare cities that celebrate two holidays – City Day and Liberation day, it is always my pleasure to meet with our Twin Cities as often as possible”.
After the formal reception, gift exchange followed, after which the delegation members attended the Liberation Day musical performances and other program.
