A delegation of the City of Kruševac was invited to attend the festivities related to the City Day of Žalec, Slovenia.
The delegation, accompanied by the Mayor of Žalec, Mister Janko Kos, visited the newly-opened tourist track “From Hops to Beer”, as well as the traditional Beer Fountain in the city.
The members of the delegation also dicussed with Mayor Kos and the members of the City of Kruševac management about the possibilities of cooperation. The fruit of those discussions was a suggestion that revolved around the participation of Cultural-Art Company “14. oktobar” from Kruševac in the International Folklore Festival “From Celje to Žalec”. Both delegations found the idea appealing, finding it to be a good opportunity for the members of the aforementioned CAC to get to know the Twin City of Žalec and its surrounding area where they would perform a bit better.
Additionally, Department for Emergency Situations and Defense of the City of Kruševac reached a cooperation agreement with the Emergency Situation Association named “Gasilska Zvezda” from Žalec.
The City Day festivities in Žalec concluded with the Formal Academy and “Night of the Young of Žalec” rock event.
The delegation of Kruševac consisted of Deputy President of City Assembly Siniša Maksimović, Deputy Head of City Administration Ivana Pajić, and Head of Department for Emergency Situations and Defense Dušan Todorović.
