Central State Wreath-Laying ceremony took place at the Monument to Kosovo Heroes.
State ceremony was lead by the envoy of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Advisor to the President Miloš Vučević.

Wreath was also laid by the Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić, accompanied by Brigadier General Nikola Matović and Guard of the Serbian Armed Forces Commander Vladimir Vukajlović.

Advisor Vučević stated in his speech that the sacrifice of the Kosovo Heroes had not been in vain, as it had became the foundation of national memory and an oath protecting the Serbian people for centuries, thanks to whom the people had survived invasions, wars, and deaths defending our culture, langauge, and faith.
“On that day, the glorious Serbian army marched towards the fields of Kosovo and into immortality, snatching victory over the earthly and transient, over the enemy forces and their plans to poison Serbia, over the traitors who chose thirty pieces of silver instead of their homeland”, said the envoy of President Aleksandar Vučić, highlighting that “most people were defeated when attacked and divided from within, not from the blows that came from outside.”

He further called upon the citizens to unity and harmony, in the name of the Kosovo oath, in the middle of Kruševac, Lazar’s City, to recognize what we have in common, to protect and safekeep Serbia, peace, freedom, and national dignity.

The ceremony was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Defense and Serbian Armed Forces.
On behalf of Kruševac, Mayor Ivan Manojlović, President Dragana Barišić, Deputy Mayor Snežana Radojković, Head of City Administration Vesna Anđelić, Mayor’s Aides, City Councilmen, directors of city institutions, and others were present.
