Mayor of Kruševac Ivan Manojlović held a reception for the students from Poland (Wolbrom and Krakow) who are visiting Kruševac through the “Erasmus+” program.
Mayor Manojlović welcomed them to Kruševac, highlighting that the youngest were always the best ambassadors of countries. The new friendships and acquaintances they had formed should continue after graduation, “which is one of the most important effects of these visits”, said Mayor Manojlović.
In the students’ address, the representatives of the schools from Poland and Kruševac said that the most important aspects of this visit were getting to know and learn more about the multiculturality, differences between the educational systems, localities, and national characteristics of the hosting country. Poland is planning to host the students from Kruševac and return the hospitality soon.
Moreover, the professors, along with the parents of the Kruševac Grammar School students, hosted the 15 students and 4 professors from Poland. Kruševac Grammar School is the partner on the project.
The Polish students will stay in Kruševac for a week. A plethora of workshops and various visits have been organized for them, such as visits to the Water factory in Majdevo, sightseeing the famous city landmarks, and a visit to Belgrade.
The professors from Poland will attend the classes to learn more about our approach to education and teaching methodology.
On the final day of their stay, a final presentation will be held where certificates will be handed to the participants.
