International Song and Dance festival was held for the 12th time in Kruševac. The children and teachers from Turkiye (İzmir), North Macedonia (Ohrid), and Romania (Râmnicu Vâlcea) are guests in our city through the ERASMUS program. On that occasion, the guests visited the Mosaic Hall of the City Hall of Kruševac, where a reception was held by the Mayor Ivan Manojlović and Mayor’s Aide for Social Activities Snežana Aleksić.
The festival was held from 21st to 25th of October, originally founded by the Primary School “Vuk Karadžić” and realized with the help of Primary School “Branko Radičević”.
In his welcome speech, Mayor Manojlović highlighted the formed life-long friendships as the biggest benefits of festivals such as these.
Beside getting to know the local culture, tradition, and educational system, the program participants had the chance to visit the cultural and historical sites of the city.
This multicultural event has the goal of helping children create and form friendship, widen their multicultural horizons, in addition to showing the variety of national legacy, local history, and tradition through a variety of workshops, classes, quizes promoting schools, cities, countries.
Principal of “Vuk Karadžić” thanked the city for the reception, and understanding and support for the projects of that school.
After the formal speeches and exchange of gifts, the present took pictures and talked in the Mosaic Hall.
