After the conclusion of the National Assembly Session in Kruševac, Ministers visited various locations in Kruševac and Rasina District.
Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Economy Aleksandar Martinović visited “Trayal Corporation”, liquor factory “Rubin”, and agricultural family farm Brkić in Veliki Šiljegovac. In “Trayal”, Minister Martinović was welcomed by Director Miloš Nenezić who told him more about the company’s history and manufacturing processes and programs.
Minister stated that this company is important for Serbian economy, not only because of its long tradition but also due to its line of various offers manufactured by the highest European and world standards.
Minister added that the company is also important because it is one of the manufacturers of anti-hail systems, which is of great importance for agriculture.
Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković visited the National Museum of Kruševac, Lazarica church, and Donjon keep.
“Today, on the holiest of holidays Vidovdan, the day on which we celebrate 635 years since the Battle of Kosovo, we held a special National Assembly session here in Lazar’s City of Kruševac, city that was a medieval capital of Serbia for 32 years, on this day we also wanted to reveal the Ministry of Culture’s intention to suggest to the Government to announce the Restoration of Lazar’s City project to be of national importance in the coming period.”
Minister Selaković explained that this plan should be a priority in the medieval category of locales in our country, and everything done by the Ministry and National Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments would be focused with this aim in mind.
Selaković said that an Agreement had been signed the previous day that enabled mixed funds, by the EU and Kruševac, to be focused on the development of project and technical documents that would put the restoration of Donjon keep and main City Tower remnants on the top of the restoration list.
Minister of Science Jelena Begović visited the construction of the new Regional Park of Industry and Technology, saying that Vidovdan might be the day that celebrates events of past, but the Ministry of Science was turned toward the future, making this a symoblic moment that, on Vidovdan of all days, they came to see how the contruction of the Park that would help the young stay in their home city had been going so far.
She added that the Regional Park was being built for the future of Kruševac and Serbia, adding that the construction dynamic is satisfactory, as the first facility was slowly growing into existence. Director of Business Incubator Martina Manojlović also stated her satisfaction with the speed construction work had been going at, adding that everything was going according to plan and that she could not wait for the Regional Park for Industry and Technology to be up and running. Head of City Administration Vesna Anđelić and Mayor’s Aide Ana Prvanov accompanied Minister Begović on her visit, as the representatives of the City of Kruševac.
During the visit of East bypass route, Minster of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesić stated:
“It is important to accept the suggestion of the City to start with 1.9 kilometers of road. So far, around 38 percent of the road has been comlpeted, it is projected that with a little less than 5 kilometers of additional work is needed for this bypass to become fully functional.”
The construction of the East bypass will help transit traffic to faster and safely drive around the city, as it cannot go through the city itself. Minister Vesić added that the construction of Morava Corridor would be completed by the end of 2025.
“By the end of the current year, we need to complete Morava Corridor to Trstenik, maybe even to Vrnjačka Banja.”
Minister Vesić also talked briefly about the Regional landfill and fast railroad projects.
“Kruševac is a city that realizes many investments. As we are working with the development bank KfW, it is expected that by the end of the year, an open call will be announced, where landfill construction firms will be officially chosen, it is a very important project. Stalać-Kruševac-Kraljevo-Rudince Railroad reconstruction project is also getting off the ground, as well.”
Mayor of Kruševac Ivan Manojlović said that the benefits of an open highway were already visible. “We have already discussed with potential foreign investors who have found the proximity to highway very tempting, putting Kruševac on top of their list.” The construction of fast highways will proved faster flow of people and goods, resulting in economy growth, development of tourism, and eventual decision of many young people to stay in their home cities, as travelling to work in another city would not pose a problem anymore.
Minister without portfolio tasked with equal rights, prevention of violence against women, and economic and political empowering of women Tatjana Macura had a meeting with the President of the City Assembly and President of Gender Equality Council dr Dragana Barišić, after which the Minister visited Social Services Center in Kruševac.
