Liberation Day of Kruševac traditionally started with the Wreath-Laying ceremony at the most important monuments in Kruševac.
With the State Honors and the Guard of the Serbian Armed Forces, Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić took part in the ceremony by laying the state wreath at the Monument to Fallen Members of the Army, Police, and Army Reserves 1991 – 1999.
The following also took part in the Wreath – Laying ceremony: Mayor Ivan Manojlović and President of City Assembly Dragana Barišić, Head of the Rasina Administrative District Ivan Anđelić, Police Commissioner Ivan Milenković, and representatives of veteran associations: Association of Freedom Fighters of Serbia, Peace Builders, “Hero’s Heart” movement, Army Senior Reserves, Gendarmery Veterans, Battle Brotherood…
The ceremony continued in the Slobodište Memorial Complex, near the mounds, and at the Monument for the Fallen Heroes in 1912-1918.
The Wreath – Laying ceremony concluded with the official program at the Red Army Monument. Deputy Mayor Snežana Radojković and Deputy President of City Assembly Siniša Maksimovć laid the city wreath, as well as the Twin City delegations from Greece and Romania, numberous other associations and organizations, and other representatives of civilian and political life of Kruševac.
