The Formal Academy was the final event of the 2024 Liberation Day of Kruševac festivities. This year also marked the 80th anninversary of the victory over fascism.
Formal Academy was attended by the Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić, representatives of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, the Police, Armed Forces of Serbia, BIA – National Intelligence Agency, delegation of Twin City Stavros, presidents of neighboring municipalities, members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, City Assembly of Kruševac, and City Council of Kruševac, businessmen, directors, representatives of the clergy, members of the public and political spheres of Kruševac…

Friends of Kruševac, choir and the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defense “Stanislav Binički” performed a mini concert inspired by the freedom wars of Serbia.
After the performance, as a sign of appreciation for shown patriotism and courage in the World War II, Mayor Manojlović handed Formal Acknowledgements to the WWII participants from Kruševac – Raško Jočić and Vojislav Stanković.
A unique documentary-style program and performance was created by RTK TV station, Theatre of Kruševac, and Cultural-Art Association “14. Oktobar”, in addition to the performance of vocal soloist Kristina Anđelić, who sang her song “Kosovo is a holy land”.
The documentary produced by RTK consisted of segments: the founding of Kruševac, the beginning and end of World War I, World War II and liberation of Kruševac, and finally, Contemporary City and Kruševac Today.
