Deputy Mayor Snežana Radojković held a reception for the delegation of professors from the Arsi University of Ethiopia. They were accompanied by their Kruševac hosts, the Academy of Applied Preschool Teaching and Health Studies, represented by Principal Zorica Duković.
The deleagation visited Kruševac as a part of Erasmus + program of international teaching staff exchange.
Taking into account the importance of international cooperation and promotion of our city as an academic and cultural hub, a reception was organized in the Mosaic Hall.
Greeting the guests, Deputy Radojković emphasized the support Kruševac offered to Erasmus and other educational programs that helped in exchanging achievements and knowledge in numerous fields. City of Kruševac was a first-time host to guests from Ethiopia, and their stay was an excellent opportunity to establish first steps towards cooperation.
The goal of Erasmus + program is to develop international mobility in higher education, exchange of knowledge and experience between the partner institutions from the European Union and partner countries, as well as strengthening the capacities of higher education institutions through intercultural coopeation and development of common educational initiatives.
During their visit, the Ethiopian delegation participated in professional and educational presentations, as well as visiting local educational and health institutions in Kruševac, in addition to numerous tourist sites of our city.
