The citizens of Kruševac welcomed the New Orthodox Year on Holiday Square, where an event and performances for the youngest were held, with the help of the City of Kruševac.
The New Year party with animators and a prize game started at 5 p.m, with the New Year presents giveaway starting soon after.
After giving away of the first batch of presents on December 31 (around 150 gifts), reminded Mayor Manojlović, due to citizen interest, more gift sponsor were contacted to organize another event. This time there were 600 presents for children (whose parents filled in and submitted the form), who spent the last day of the year in a holiday atmosphere.
The “Holiday Square” event continued that week. There are plans to breathe new life into the square through organizing similar events on important dates, such as Valentine’s Day, International Women’s Day and others.
