Ambassador of People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Li Ming, visited Kruševac on Liberation Day and held a meeting with the entrepreneurs of Rasina District and the President of Assembly of Serbian Chamber of Commerce Miloš Nenezić, together with Mayor Ivan Manojlović and Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić.
The present were greeted by Mayor Manojlović, Minister Gašić, and His Excellency Ming, while the Director of Regional Chamber of Commerce – Kruševac, Maja Marković, talked about the trade and entrepreneural cooperation China and Serbia had.
A conclusion was drawn that said that the presidents of two countries, Xi Jinping and Aleksandar Vučić, had formed a steel bond between the Chinese and Serbian people, making China one of the most significant economic partners of Serbia.
China has become the largest source of direct investments in Serbia, and second largest trade partner of both Serbia and Rasina District. Chinese companies have started a plethora of successful investment projects, with the support of the Government of Serbia.
Another topic of the meeting was the possibilities of further developing the cooperation between China and businesses of Rasina District, with the aim of increasing the economic development in this part of Serbia. After the meeting, His Excellency Ming said that Kruševac was a dynamic city whose industrical capabilities were quickly developing, assessing that there could be a great potentital for additional development of cooperation.
Mayor Manojlović remarked that the cooperation with China would definitely be developed and that the city management would continue to put additional effort into bringing the economy of Kruševac to a higher level. He also expressed thanks to Minister Gašić for his continuous support to City of Kruševac and the entirety of Rasina District.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Rasina District, as well as numerous entrepreneurs who took the chance and discussed with the Chinese delegation about providing support in increasing export of goods to Chinese market.
