As a part of the “Limenka Fest” festival that was held in Kruševac, the City hosted a great number of theater troupes and companies who performed plays during the festival.
On that occasion, City of Kruševac held a meeting with visiting representatives of the embassies of Bulgaria and Slovakia, respectively, who did not only have the pleasure to watch plays from their respective countries but also attend separate meetings with Mayor Ivan Manojlović and his associates.
The Ambassador of Slovakia, His Excellency, Mister Michal Pavuk, and Advisor to the Ambassador of Bulgaria, Mister Stanimir Gizdev discussed about the relation-strenghtening means and further cooperation in the separate meetings with the Mayor, with one of the main points of discussion being the existing cooperation between the entrepreneurs of Kruševac and Rasina District and the entrepreneurs from the Slovakia and Bulgaria, as well as the possibilities for future economic cooperation.
In addition to the Mayor and representatives of the embassies, the Mayor’s associates that attended the meetings were Head of City Administration Vesna Anđelić, Mayor’s Aide for Ecology, Energy, and Sustainable Development Ana Prvanov, and Director of Regional Chamber of Commerce – Kruševac Maja Marković.
After the meetings had concluded, the representatives of their respective embassies, in the company of Mayor Manojlović and Director of “Limenka Fest” Novica Pavličić, visited the festival showcase on Actor’s Square and watched the performances of the theater companies “Region Puppet Theater” from Kosice, Slovakia, and “Senju Puppet Company” from Sofia, Bulgaria.
“Limenka teatar fest” (Tin Can Theater Festival) is a festival of ecology and theater held in various cities in Serbia, and as such, one of the host cities was Kruševac.
The goal of the festival is to raise awareness about the impact of art on the children development and education about the importance of recycling and environmental protection achieved through different media and fun programes.
