The City Council consists of the mayor and their deputy, and the members of the city council who are elected by the City Assembly every four years. The election is done in secret with the majority of the total votes needed to form the council. The City Council:
- Proposes statute, budget, and other decisions and acts that are passed by the Assembly;
2. Is directly involved in carrying out the decisions and acts of the City Assembly;
3. Handles the temporary financing in cases where the City Assembly is unable to come to a decision, before the start of a fiscal year;
4. Supervises the City Hall and its administration, aborts or voids City Hall acts that are not following the law, statute, or other general acts or decisions brought by the City Assembly;
5. Handles everything regarding the rights and obligations of the citizens, companies, institutions, and other organizations that fall under the city’s supervision through the 2nd degree administrative procedures;
6. Handles the applying of the entrusted jurisdictions of right and duty;
7. Chooses and relieves of duty the Head of the City Hall Administration and their deputy;
8. Makes their sessions journal available at the behest of the mayor;
9. Establishes the criteria for the height of pay of the City Hall employees, and realizes the employees’ rights and obligations that are not regulated by their contracts or law;
10. Organizes the conditions and methods of use of the company vehicles, retaining the right to repossess them;
11. Gives consent to the prices of utility services;
12. Gives consent to the act of internal organization and systematization of job positions in public companies;
13. Gives consent to decisions regarding the investments and other activities of public interest which are out of the jurisdiction of the City Assembly;
14. Gives consent to the financial plans of local communities;
15. Analyzes activity reports of the companies founded by the city;
16. Accomplishes other tasks that are determined by the statute and official decisions of the City Assembly.

Dragan Anđelković
Entrepreneur, owner and director of “Viva 92” Company from Kruševac
Born in 1970 in Kruševac, Dragan is a successful entrepreneur with 32 years of experience. A family man, father of three children, a distinguished personality equipped with all the necessary qualities a successful businessman: expertise, responsibility, and tenacity. By utilizing those traits, “Viva 92” company is in a state of constant growth and development.
He is one of the founders and the President of the Entrepreneurs’ Club of Kruševac. As a socially conscious person, Dragan has been awarded a number of prestigious accolades for his participation in humanitarian, cultural, and sports manifestations in Kruševac and other cities and regions.

Miloš Ašanin
Economist, Karate Master and Teacher, and Licenced Referee
Born in 1979 in Kruševac, Miloš was in the enrepreneurship field from 1998 until 2016, his first career step being selling Mercedes car parts, which was an important stepping stone for his later career in contruction investments. He earned a Republic Bank of Serbia (NBS) licence for insurance representatives. Miloš was the branch director of „HS Inso“ insurance company from Slovakia, as well as the director of „Globos Insurance“ in Kruševac. In the period of 2009 and 2014, he was a member of the Partizan FC Assembly. He is a member of IO Serbian Party “Zavetnici”, and the coordinator for Rasina District.

Nikola Veličković
Economist
Born in 1986 in Mačkovac, where he still lives, Nikola Veličković graduated from Grammar School of Kruševac, and from the Faculty of Economy, University of Kragujevac, Hotel Management and Tourism department in Vrnjačka Banja. In 2012, he graduated from Reserve Officers School, Class of March. Between 2013 and 2021, he spent his career as an entrepreneur in the hospitality industry, after which he transitioned to digital marketing.
He founded a darts club named “U Prolazu”, and regularly donates blood.

Bratislav Ilčić
Economist
Born on November 11th, 1957 in Krusveac, he graduated from primary and secondary school in Krusevac, after which he graduated from the Higher School of Economy & Commerce in Kraljevo.
He worked at “Agro-Export” Belgrade, Krusevac department, as an independent officer for 13 years.
Between December 2012 and July 2016, he was a permanently-engaged member of the City Council.
He works in the hospitality industry.

Perica Janković
Entrepreneur
Born in 1973 in Kruševac, Perica is the founder, owner, and director of “Mlekara Eko-Mlek” LLC based in his home village Kaonik. Using his 30 years of experience, Perica developed his company, which employs over 150 people, into working in different fields such as, agriculture, milk processing and cheese production, pig farming, in addition to owning restaurants and stores. His company is regarded as one of the largest cheese production companies in Serbia, and is one of the largest cheese exports in Rasina District. He won numerous awards for achieved business results, one distinguished being the Regional Chamber of Commerce Award for “2022 Business Success”.

Ljiljana Maksić
Technician of Economy and Former Professional Athlete
Born in 1969. in Latkovac near Aleksandrovac, Ljiljana was a professional handball player, her career spanning over 28 years, she played for various clubs such as Napredak Kruševac, Radnički Belgrade, DIN Niš, Budućnost Podgorica, and “Jagodina” from Jagodina.
She made more than 240 appearances for the national team of Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro, and Serbia. With 4500 scored goals, she was named the World’s All-Time Best Handball Scorer. For a while, she was coaching female junior handball clubs. In her club career, she won the European Cup five times, the European Cities Cup with Napredak, she was the runner-up of the Champions League three times, won Domestic Cup 8 times, and two silver medals and a gold one in national junior competitions. In senior national team competitions, she won gold in Mediterranean Games in Athens, and bronze in World Cup in Italy for her country. She has been nationally recognized for her merits in sports.
She served as a member of the City Council in two terms.
She is married and mother of two.

Miroljub Aranđelović Rasinski
Composer
Born in 1957 in Kruševac, where he graduated from Primary School “Dragomir Marković“ and Primary Music School “Stevan Hristić“, while he graduated from Secondary Music School “Josip Slavenski“ and Faculty of Music, both in Belgrade. His musical opus consists of many different genres: vocal, camerata, applied, choir, solo, opera, orchestral, patriotic, and electro-acoustic music. Among his most significant works are operas “Sedra“, “Lazar’s Beheading”, “Crown-Prince Stefan”, “Cross of Saint Constantine the Great“ cantata, children opera “Ship Jelena“... He composed music for more than 300 theatre plays and 60 radio dramas, children musicals, music for dramas, TV series, and documentaries. He has won many awards, some of most notable are City of Belgrade Award for his opera “Sedra”, Vuk’s Award, Sterija’s Award, The Mokranjac Foundation Award, Golden Ring of Belgrade, Golden Badge of Cultural-Educational Community of Belgrade, and many others. Miroljub is a member of Composers of Serbia Association and Association of Musical Pedagogists of Serbia.
Zorica Stanković
Construction Engineer
Born in 1967 in Kruševac, she graduated from Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade, Department of Roads, Railways, and Airports, with perfect grade point average.
In her 29-year-spannning career, she has gone through the complete career path in low-rise construction – from the head of construction sites to the company director.
She worked in contruction company “Jastrebac” from Kruševac, “ Kruševacput“ JSC, “Putevi Užice“ JSC from Užice.
The most significant projects are the construction of E-75 highway, the 90-kilometer long Novi Sad – Horgoš segment, where she worked as the head contractor, as well as the 22-kilometer long Levosoje – border of Formery Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia segment, where she worked as the Project Manager.
From 2014 to 2018, she was the Director of “Kruševacput“ JSC from Kruševac, and she has been the Head Contractor on the Morava Corridor project on behalf of Bechtel Enka JV company, the 120-kilometers long segment.

Dragan Radosavljević
Retired Tourismologist
Born on April 10th, 1942 in Veliki Siljegovac, he graduated from Grammar School of Kruševac, and Higher School of Tourism in Dubrovnik.
He worked in tourism for 9 years before being employed at Invest Bank on tasks related to foreign currency liquidity. He was a member of Invest Bank’s managing board and the president of Invest Bank’s Labor Union. In the last 6 years of employment with them, he was Head of Citizen Affairs Service.
He is a member of Retiree Association and the management of PUPS (United Retirees of Serbia Party).
