As a part of the Vidovodan festivities, a formal reception for the members of the Twin City delegations was held in Mosaic Hall.
On that occasion, Mayor Manojlović greeted the guests:
“Today on Vidovdan, we are witnessing that there are no borders, differences, and divides. We witness that we share love, respect, understanding, and wish for our brotherly relations to last for future generations.
You, as our brothers and sisters, are not mere guests in this city, and that is our greatest wealth. In these times of many challenges, friendship between cities are valuable, as well as trust, knowledge exchange, and readiness to support one another. We are proud of being able to share our success with you, proud of the possibilities of learning from you, proud of bulding bridges with you.
Dear friends, let your presence here today be another step towards strengthening our unbreakable bonds. I wish for you to create most wonderful memories in this city and to always come back here among your friends and bretheren”.
Twin Cities that attended the Formal Reception on Vidovdan were Žalec, Slovenia; Szentendre, Hungary; Lipetsk, Russian Federation; Stara Zagora, Bulgaria; Ramnicu Valcea, Romania; and Bijeljina, Republik of Srpska.
After the speeches and exchange of gifts, the guests and hosts informally talked about the festivities and their own City Day celebrations, among other topics.
