As a part of the Vidovdan State Ceremony, Kruševac hosted a session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
President of National Assembly of Serbia Miloš Vučević stated that four topics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Defense offices’ jurisdictions, primarily regarding the internal and foreign security, were discussed.
After the tour of the Technical-Tactical Exhibition of the Serbian Armed Forces, Vučević made a statement to the press that the Ministers filed short reports from their respective fields, in addition to the Ministry of Culture’s actions and intents regarding the safekeeping of all national items, affairs, and questions that determine and characterize the Serbian people.
The topic of economy, as the main engine of the state, was also covered, of course, as the Prime Minister highlighted that without strong economy, organized finance, and stable monetary policies, neither the Serbian Armed Forces nor Ministry of Defense would not have the items that were showcased in the TT exhibition.
He also added what needed to be done in the fields of Health, Environmental Protection, Utility and Transport infrastructure in the City of Kruševac, and the Rasina District as a whole, during the National Assembly session.
“As nobody respects the international public rights, today we gathered in Kruševac, instead of Gračanica church and in Gazimestan” – said Vučević.
Speaking about the Serbian people from the region, Prime Minister said that Serbia stands by its people, respecting other countries, even though some of them do not return the respect.
“Some consider a part of our territory should be an independent state. We want the best possible collaboration with everybody, but in accordance with the International Public Rights, International Agreements, Serbia has the obligation and moral responsibility to take care and protect the national, cultural, and spiritual identity of Serbian people, wherever they may live” – stated Vučević.
The citizens of Kruševac had the opportunity to enjoy the showcase of the military weaponry and equipment that the Ministry of Defense and Serbian Armed Forces have at their disposal.
Consequently, Prime Minister Vučević reminded that a new Chinese Short-Range Anti-Air Defense System, XQ-17, is a part of the TT showcase.
“It is a guarantee of a better protection of the air space of our motherland, representing a powerful combination with our most powerful FK-3 Anti-Air defensive systems” – declared Vučević.
Citizens could, he added, see a plethora of new additions, from the ammunition manufacturing, dedicated service industry affairs, artillery and rocket ammunation manufacturing, to the complex offensive systems, in addition to the new version of the Nora and Gvozdika howitzer, M-84 and BVPM tanks.
According to his words, the largest part of the equipment and weaponry that were showed in the exhibition had been independently manufactured in Serbia. Vučević sent a message that the Government of Serbia would continue the economic strengthening, keeping of peace and stability, as it had been and always was the national and state interest.
Kosovo and Metohija is our greatest challenge, as daily and literal terror is being laid upon Serbian people by the Kurti’s regime, without concrete sanctions or warnings by the International community, stated Prime Minister Vučević.
